Sidebar not appearing

The sidebar injects after WhatsApp Web fully loads. If it doesn't appear, the page may not have finished loading.

→ Hard refresh WhatsApp Web (Ctrl+Shift+R)

Folders disappeared after update

Folders and chat assignments are stored in chrome.storage.local. They persist across updates unless storage was cleared.

→ Check chrome://extensions → WATools Hub → Storage

Blur not working on new chats

The blur scanner runs on a MutationObserver. New chats appearing after load may take a moment to be detected.

→ Toggle blur off and on once to rescan

Reminders not firing

Chrome Alarms require the browser to be running. If Chrome is closed at the scheduled time, the notification fires on next launch.

→ Ensure Chrome is open at the reminder time

Backup stops mid-way

Very large chats (2000+ messages) may hit browser memory limits. Use the date range filter to back up in smaller periods.

→ Set a shorter date range and run multiple backups

Pro features locked after payment

Paid status is verified against ExtensionPay. If it shows locked, the cache may not have updated yet.
